About Vintage Timepieces Antique timepieces and vintage watches often possess special beauty of the era and craftsmanship unmatched by the current line of watches. Each piece is unique and some possess quite a historical value with their rarity. Mechanical watches can last a century and more with proper care and maintenance. Manual wind watches should be wound once a day approximately around the same time. Automatic wind pieces should be wound by wearing the watch or utilizing winders to have watches properly "exercised", thereby extending the time period between expensive overhauls. Although, many vintage watches claim to be waterproof or resistant, we don't recommend you to submerge the time piece in water as many are dustproof and sweat proof rather than waterproof. Any mechanical watches, vintage and new, should be overhauled by qualified watchmakers in every of 3 to 5 years in order to maintain the movements in proper conditions. With proper maintenance your special piece will be fit to be passed on for generations. All of the watches sold at AntiqueWatchOnline.com are properly serviced and lubricated.

Our Gurantees We guarantee all the watches we sell for 120 days from Date of Purchase. Please note that vintage watches are not guaranteed to be waterproof, even if it is an old "Oyster" or a "Submariner", None of our watches are guaranteed against misuse of any kind. You may return your purchase for three full days after you receive it. Please advise us by email of your planned return, and the reason for the return.
